BCPPL Event #4 "The West Coast Classic " details

We are happy to announce that BCPPL Event 4 "The Westcoast Classic" will be held at the the Cloverdale fairgrounds in Surrey BC. This venue offers it all,stadium seating,great playing surface,covered staging, easy access from anywhere in the lower mainland, lots of nearby services (restaurants etc),and incredible atmosphere.

This event is last major paintball event of the regular season in Canada and the Northwest for 2008!
The British Columbia Speedball Championships, "The Brawl For It All", the BCPPL's spectacular inddor year end event, will be held November 14/15/16 2008. Entry to this tournament will be first offered to teams that have participated in 2008 BCPPLMR series events. This event sells out every year, so if you want to have your team in Brawl, you guarrantee your spot by playing this tournament.
Trade show
There will once again be a huge trade show at the Stetson Bowl. The biggest paintball companies in Canada will be offering the latest, greatest gear, and essentials, for any last minute, or replacement items for tournament participants.....ALL at aggressive trade show prices!
The BCPPL will soon be launching it's most aggresive spectator/trade show traffic campaign ever. Look for more newspaper ads, posters, internet advertising, and marketing then we have ever done! Make sure you get all of your family, non-paintball playing friends to come out and see the biggest paintball show in BC!
Planet Eclipse will once again have there PRO-Techzone setup to look after your equipment all weekend long!

Friday September 12th
4:00pm - Team sign in/package and ID card pick-up opens
4:00pm - Fields open for walking by all teams.
9:00pm - Field walking ends. Trade show closes
Saturday September 13th
7:00am - Doors open (sign-in and paint sales)
7:20am - Division 4/3 captains meeting.
7:30am - Division 4/3 Games begin!
8:00am – Trade show opens,spectator admission opens
12:00pm - Division 1 and 2 captains meeting.
12:30pm - Division 1 and 2 games begin
Sunday September 14th
7:00am - Doors open
7:30am - Division 4/3 games begin
8:00am-Trade show opens
TBA - Division 1 and 2 games begin
TBA - Division 1/2/3 semi-finals
Team fees and registration
All entry fees are due in full at the time of registration, or your entry will be considered null and void.
The maximum amount of teams we can accept for this event will be 30, Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Remember fees are due in full at time of registration! If you have a certificate for Division 3 or 4 giving your team free entry, you must provide a minimum $200.00 deposit to secure your spot. Your $200 will be refunded when you pick up your package at the event.
All player's must have a 2008 BCPPL/CPPL player ID card to play....go HERE to save $20.00 by registering online. The deadline for online player ID applications is May 12th at 8pm. Players that miss the online deadline, must stand in line and get there card before the tournament starts. Cost for waiting until the last minute is $40.

Because of the limited space for staging, and the waits between games, we have pleased to offer all teams (of means) a private,secure, luxury staging option. The cost will be $250.00 per team,for the weekend, and there will be 4 such spots available. This option includes:
- 10x20 private, walled area for the whole weekend! (cannot be shared)
- direct view of playing field
- two 4x6 tables
- 2 garbage cans
- Private chrono range
- Private air table
- security
- free bottled water,sport drinks,soda and fresh assorted fruit.....lunch on Sunday!
- 2 free pit passes for staff ($20.00 value)

Host Hotel
The official host hotel for 2008 BCPPL events is the Sandman Hotel chain. The Sandman in Langley is offering the best rates around for player's attending E1. This hotel is located off Hwy #1 at the 200th street exit. As with the tournament location, there is tons of restaurants, and other services within walking distance. The hotel itself is 10-15 minutes from the Stetson Bowl.
