BCPPL Event #1 2009 details

Location

 

We are pleased  to announce that Event 2 “The Van City Open’ June 13/14 2009 will be held at Panther Paintball in “SUNNY” South Surrey BC .

 

The event was originally scheduled for The Stetson Bowl, but current economic conditions (paint prices,etc.) forced us to change venues. BCPPL event 3 'The West Coast Classic" will be back at the Rodeo grounds in Cloverdale. Event 4 “The Brawl for it All” location will be announced before September 1st 2009. Special thanks to Panther for accomodating us yet again this season.

 

 

Panther is centrally located, and is close to restaurants, hotels, major freeways, and the US border. Panther also has more than ample parking, power, water, trade show space, food services, and  

 

Panther is located at 19022 16th ave Surrey B.C.

Dates and preliminary schedule of events

 

 

Friday June 12th

 

4:00pm - Team checkin/ ID pickup opens (open until 6:00pm)

4:00pm - Fields open for walking by all teams.

7:30pm -  Fields close for walking

 

Saturday June 13th

 

7:00am - Doors open (team check in and paint sales)

7:45am - Division 4/3 captains meeting.

8:00am - Division 4/3 Games begin!

12:00pm - Division 1 and 2 captains meeting.

12:30pm - Division 1 and 2 games begin

 

Sunday June 14th

 

6:45am - Doors open

7:45am - Division 4/3 games begin.

TBA - Division 1 and 2 games begin

TBA - Division 1/2/3 semi-finals

TBA - Division 1/2/3/finals

 

 

Team fees and registration



Registration for teams is open. Final deadline is June 8th at 8:00pm (pst).
Early entry deadline is May 25th 8:00pm (pst)


All entry fees are due in full at the time of registration, or your entry will be considered null and void. Please go to the registration page HERE to enter your team

 
The maximum amount of teams we can accept for this event will be 30, Registration is on a first come first serve basis, if you miss the deadlines…...to bad……no exceptions.  Remember fees are due in full at time of registration! If you have a certificate from 2008, you still must provide a $200 deposit. Please read instructions on event registration link.

 

 


There will be lower entry fees for teams registering before March 25th

VIP Staging



Because of the limited space for staging, and the waits between games, we have pleased to offer all teams (of means) a private, luxury staging option. The cost will be $250.00 per team,for the weekend, and there will be 6 such spots available. This option includes:



-10x20 private, walled area for the whole weekend! (cannot share)
- two 4x6 tables
- 5-7 chairs
- 2 garbage cans
- free assorted drinks
- unobstructed field view
- 2 free pit passes for staff ($20.00 value)
- Free webcast DVD. This will be available to you immediately after the event Sunday afternoon.
- VIP only Hand wash station
- Private VIP only lavatory

 

We will have a dedicated full time person looking after every VIP area in 2009


Remember there is only six of these spots available……

Host Hotel

 

The official host hotel for 2008 BCPPL events is the Sandman Hotel chain. The Sandman in Langley is offering the best rates/best value around for player's attending E3. This hotel is located off Hwy #1 at the

 

200th street exit. As with the tournament location, there is tons of restraunts, and other services within walking distance. The hotel itself is 10-15 minutes from Panther.

 

This hotel group has been a proud supporter of BC paintball the past few years. We strongly encourage all teams to support them.

Trade Show

 

There will be a trade show at Event #2. The vendors will have the basics needed by teams at any event...and some of the hot new 09 products too.

 

 

LIVE free video webcast

 

A live video webcast will run all weekend,starting at approx 11:00am each day. This is a free service for family, friends and fans, easily viewable anywhere in the world.

 

Danny Miller and his witty word play will be back as host…always entertaining!
