Before registering your team in a BCPPL tournament, please make sure you are 100% commited to attending. Nothing is worse for the organizers of large events, than a team not showing up. In our experience in running these events over the years, teams not showing up have caused complete chaos, incredible extra expenses, and scheduling nightmares. All of these things affect the quality of the tournament for teams that do show up.

 

 This is why we demand %100 of any teams entry fee when registering.....it is your commitment to playing. Other teams have paid to play against you! It is our job to make sure you do not let them down. Everytime in the past, a team has not shown up, there has been no deposit.....a bounced cheque, invalid credit card etc... Some teams have even paid there entry, not shown up (with no notice to the league), and asked for there deposit back weeks after the event!! This is of course completely unacceptable. The BCPPL spends upwards of $500.00 or more in printing costs for each event......score sheets, scoreboards, schedules (individually highlighted by team), and various other essentials. We also put in enormous amounts of time and effort making sure everything is correct, organized, and distributed to staff, teams,and on the web.

 

Our commitment to all teams is to provide the best tournament experience possible. This is why we require full payment before including any team in our tournament schedule.

 

If you have a prize certificate from a past event, make sure the actual roster complies with the rules of your certificate. We require a minimum $200.00 deposit from you before entering your team. There are no exceptions to this policy.
